He was a US Olympic Team Member and Pan American Champion in freestyle wrestling, a two-time NCAA Division I National champion (four-time finalist) and two-time Big 12 Conference champion (four-time finalist) for the Missouri Tigers, and was the second wrestler to secure multiple Dan Hodge Trophies (equivalent of the Heisman Trophy) in folkstyle wrestling. Jake Paul Vs Ben Askren; When Will It Go Down?

In a tweet on Tuesday night, Ben accepted Jake’s challenge: “Yes Mr. Jake Paul I do accept…listen it’s a pretty simple choice. I’m going to make a whole bunch of money to beat up a guy who is pretending to be an athlete because at the end of the day that’s what you’re doing.”

The Tweet video uploaded by Ben suggests the fight will be on Tuesday night of March 28th 2021. However, ESPN reporter Ariel Helwani has tweeted it is not yet confirmed: “Fight is nowhere near done though, I’m told, but there is chatter.”

Jake Paul had some words to say about his challenger Ben Askren. “Quite frankly I am impressed that you’ve deluded yourself into thinking that you are a fighter that you are really tough, that you can box…I will see you on March 28th in Los Angeles and I will humiliate you like millions of people want to see happen,” Jake Paul replied.

Although the fixture and date is yet to be confirmed, the fight promises to be an interesting watch. On the one side is Ben, coming from the back of two successive defeats after a fine run of 19 wins. On the other is Jake Paul, winning his second consecutive pro boxing match to make it 2/2.
