Commonly known by his online alias – Mr. Beast, Jimmy Donaldson is an American YouTuber and entrepreneur. He was born on May 7th, 1998. He is famous for his extravagant stunts and philanthropy.

Jimmy Donaldson was born in America and currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jimmy was raised by his mother. He graduated from the Greenville Christian Academy in 2016. Perhaps his Christian upbringing has something to do with his large heart and the way he freely gives gifts.

Mr. Beast gained recognition when he posted a video titled “Worst Intros on YouTube”. This was after he created his account in 2012.

Mr. Beast did not complete college. The star dropped out to pursue a career in streaming as a YouTuber. This has paid off as he’s the second best-paid YouTuber for the year 2020.

The star has an older brother in CJ Donaldson. CJ owns a channel named “MrBro”. Jimmy Suffers from Chron’s disease, a condition characterized by an inflammatory bowel. The star is in a romantic relationship with Maddy Spidell.

The star didn’t go viral until later in 2017. Between 2015 – 2016 he managed to accumulate 30,000 subscribers. He tried without success to master the YouTube algorithm by posting things he thought people would like. This was not a success though. He later found a way around it in 2017 when he posted a video of himself counting $100,000 bills.

By November 2017 the star rose from 30,000 subscribers to a million. Today, Jimmy Donaldson boasts 49.2 million subscribers with a net worth of around $16 million. His videos average 20,000,000 views per stream.

Jimmy recently launched a restaurant chain in the states. He gave out free burgers and other gifts to his customers. One person was even lucky enough to go home with a car.

The star has also revived his “Finger on the app challenge” where the last man standing goes home with a cash price. He has set the prize money at $100,000 for the winner of the contest.
