With all the attention diverted to the Hype House and Sway House members and ex-residents, it’s not surprising if people have forgotten one of the first social media collectives: Team 10.
The collective that was started by controversial YouTuber Jake Paul in 2017 has served as a talent management company, with the name being used for a Las Vegas residence that houses many social media stars.
Team 10’s social media accounts have been dormant since the fall of 2019, which lead many to wonder if the group was over or not. However, due to the several influxes of new members joining the collective, it seems that Jake Paul’s group isn’t all that done in yet.
Social Media Accounts
Though their social media accounts have not been updated recently, Jake Paul has since continued to post Team 10 content on his YouTube channel, which has more than 20.1 million subscribers. It appears to be a strategy to shift from Team 10-centric content to something more personal, which is reasonable considering his extensive subscribe list.
On June 28, Jake affirmed in his video, “I BROKE MY RIB CAGE *we called an ambulance*” that not only that Team 10 still a thing, but that the group was looking to represent more members. Jake explained that many email applications had already been sent, and they(Team 10) were watching the applications at the moment. He then showcases several of the videos he received, which he decided on taking two male and two female applicants.
The guys he selected were Airrack and Tucker Doss, and the other two applicants who made quite an impression on Jake and his other Team 10 members were TikTok, and Instagram stars Elle Danjean and Kaylyn Slevin.
In addition to their massive online following, Elle and Kaylyn are best known for being the exes of two top TikTok stars-Bryce Hall and Tayler Holder.
Will the Team 10 house start competing with the Hype House and Sway House? It remains to be seen.
