Who Is Yung Bleu?

Yung Bleu has is a rapper and singer also known as Bleu Vandross which was named after R&B legend Luther Vandross. He was born in Mobile, Alabama. The young rapper has experienced heartwarming success since his debut in the early 2010s. He has also made noticeable progress in his style of music. His actual name is Jeremy Biddle.

His Career

He started rapping at the age of 11. His entry into the rap game was after he witnessed his brother have a conversation with local hip-hop circles. He came into the limelight when he released his mixtapes while he was a teenager, one of which is 2013’s Hello World. He later became involved with young Boss Entertainment.

Over the coming years, he built his reputation with IVN (investments) which are a series of mixtapes with each successive release widening his scope. He also developed a relationship with Boosie Badazz around the time he released his tracks. They collaborated on several tracks and he secured a deal with Boosie’s Music Syndicate. He made remarkable progress with his single ‘Miss It’ which he released in 2017 which continued to increase his fandom.

He also had streaming success with his hits like ‘Unappreciated’ which he released in 2018 and his remix which was worked on with Kevin Gates ‘Ice on My Baby’. The rapper also established an R&B leaning mixtape series which was named after his name, Bleu Vandross. He released his final mixtapes under Investments 6 and Vandross 2 in 2019.

He then released his independent Vandross Music Group in 2020 with Bleu Vandross 3 and Love Scars; The 5 Stages of Emotions. You’re Mine Still, an alternative version of Love Scars highlight which included a verse from Drake was placed on a subsequent expanded version of the EP. In October of 2020, it entered the Hot 100 and pushed on to make its mark on the Billboard 200.
